United Financial Credit Union was formed in 1964 to serve a small group of tool and die workers in the Bridgeport area. What started out in the home of one of our founding members has now grown into our main office on Dixie Highway near Bridgeport. Eventually United Financial added a branch office which is now located on State Street in Saginaw Township. Our membership has expanded to not only include tool and die shops, but manufacturers, grocers, and several other organizations that we call sponsor groups.

Lake Huron Credit Union was established in 1959. It was known at that time as Teamster's Local 486 Credit Union. The first office was on South Jefferson in downtown Saginaw and was open only a few nights each week. There were two part time employees. James Schmidt was treasurer, and Marilyn Hamilton. John Zuziak was elected as the first president of the Credit Union.

Today, Lake Huron Credit Union continues to be a strong financial institution with assets over 30 million.

Team One Credit Union was originally organized by a group of 15 teachers as Saginaw Teachers Club Credit Union in 1935. Formed to fill a need as a place where teachers could receive financial assistance at reasonable rates, the purpose of this credit union was, and is, to encourage thrift (savings) among our members.

Over the years, Team One has grown to 7 locations in Saginaw, Bay City, Caro, Bad Axe, and Sandusky and has opened membership to anyone living, working, or worshipping in those areas.
